The starting point of an ICON project is an ICT-related need detected by companies, governments or organizations and is typically situated within IBBT’s five application domains: Culture & Media, Healthy Society, Green ICT, Sustainable Mobility and Social & Secure ICT. In cooperation with the university research departments IBBT helps you to deal with this question and to find the right partners. The research partners can be of all kind. SME’s, large companies, local branches of multinationals as well as governments and social profit organizations can participate. 

The info session is meant to support these partners with the preparations of their proposal. All procedures as well as the goals of ICON-projects will be covered in depth. Since the procedure has recently changed, the session might also be interesting for those who are already familiar with ICON projects.
