iStart offers support to innovative ICT starters
An iStart project mainly aims at supporting commercial development of an ICT related business idea, financially as well as by means of customized training and coaching. This implies, for instance, a technological innovation, or the application of state-of-the-art technology in a new market, which enters within the scope of IBBT activities.
This call is competitive! Do you have one of the best project proposals?
It can be submitted up to February 1st 2012!
- During a period of 6 up to maximum 18 months, IBBT provides financial means (max. €50k max.) as well as coaching and training, depending on the specific needs (specialized coaches, training focusing on certain themes, entrepreneur in residence …).
- Even though a minimal support towards further technology development can be given as well, the main focus lies on the business development portion (developing a business plan, clarifying the intellectual property situation, market analysis, customer contacts through fairs …).
- The final purpose of an iStart project is to help develop a business idea up to the point where it is ready to attract financial support in the market, and to continue developing independently (foundation of a new company).
